Dear SkyGazer... [can I call you that?], I'm so excited about Elevated Perspectives. I really hope you'll get to see it. Allow me to let you in on some inside thoughts: Lately, I've been having some really great conversations about life, living, and learning. Here's one thought that's stuck with me: You probably had to zoom in and squint to read that. It says, "Start replacing the question marks in your mind with exclamation points. What if? What if!"
"How many times has fear made what should have been a, "What if!" into a "what if?" How many times have I been afraid of an unknown instead of curious about it? Am I letting fear be my guide?" ^These are some of the thoughts inside my head. For me, it could be so simple—just spend a few quiet moments appreciating what God made in nature. What a solution! What a blessing. This might sound a little nerdy, but I can get lost in a flower. Besides their obvious beauty, their nectar, seeds, and fruit, flowers produce food for almost every living thing on land needs to survive. Can you imagine how it feels when I gaze at the sky?! Yesterday [Sunday], I shared a small personal moment on Instagram of me on a nature walk. Truth is, sometimes I just need a few moments to gaze at the sky. To put fear in it's place. To remind my heart, "My God is bigger than this." Let me know if you can relate. With love, grace, and joy, I can totally relate |

Some of the highlights: The incredibly powerful poems shared by Alayna Hilliard, entitled "You're Mine" and "More Than Words",...

Hello my friend, Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed your holidays. I took a little break to allow myself time to recharge, but now I'm back! Let's catch up. As you (hopefully) know, my solo exhibition is now just over a month away—31 days to be exact. So that is my focus from now until then. I am hard at work in the studio. In my last email, I talked about worship. I want to expound on this topic. Specifically how, not only is this exhibition about exalting and worshipping God, but so is my...
